Historic Georgian house with spacious rooms, exquisite gardens, and really good dining experiences near local attractions.

The charming exterior and comfortable rooms were lovely, and having a spacious bathroom was a plus. While the local landmarks offered great family bonding opportunities, including the Northumberland Country Zoo and A1 Glass Studio, the service felt lacking. We appreciated the well-priced wine but were let down by slow meal service and staff training issues. it had its moments, yet improvements are needed for a satisfying stay.

Very helpful staff-fabulous meal for dinner in hotel restaurant-room beautifully finished-?recently renovated but in keeping with lovely old house-very comfortable, attractive communal sitting roomdownstairs
Couldn't get heating to work in bathroom(rather large room which even in mid-May could have benefited from being warmer) -quality of shower fitting not in keeping with rest of the room and bathroom-? cheap adjustable shower rose which would not adjust to a nice even poweful shower.Breakfast was quite satisfactory although nothing special (after the amazing evening meal-was expecting more but not unhappy with what we got)

I can't believe how dirty our room was! Dog hair everywhere, stains on the carpet, and the bathroom was a mess. The toilet wasn't cleaned, and there were cracked tiles. I expected way better.

Beautiful country house location that had been restored to a high standard of comfort with modern bathrooms. Staff were very pleasant and helpful but not stuffy or pushy. Food was very good
Only thing that was slightly annoying was the fact that the internet didn't work on both days and nobody did anything about it. Bedroom was a bit cool on one of the nights.. and didn't understand how the thermometer worked...

Fantastic, "get away", romantic place for our 25t Anniversary. Very close to unspoilt beaches and countryside in Northumberland. The hall is beautifully decorated and the room we had was extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend Eshott Hall.

The staff made us feel welcome, accommodating our needs, and even pampering our dogs, which was a nice touch. Our comfortable room allowed for a relaxing time, and the grounds provided a perfect setting for leisurely walks. it was a good getaway that exceeded our expectations.

Discrete and friendly staff. Excellent cuisine with courses in careful balance. Generous and graceful rooms. Peaceful location and building. Fastidiously maintained grounds and building - NO dirty corners anywhere.
I hate penetrating saxophone music at breakfast - but it was turned down immediately on request of all the guests in the room.

Quietly elegant, the bedrooms are beautiful. Staff are attentive and polite. Dinner was not cheap but was quite delicious and exquisitively presented.
The drawing room and library are a bit dark in the evenings.

Location and the splender of the House.
Matress in the room was of poor quality. T.V to small for the room and not what you would expect when paying £140 per night. The house lacked atmosphere. Food very expensive then to have your desert burnt and still no appology and still charged for. Not what I would have expected for a 120 pound meal !!!!
